  • 11/20: [Locked] reviewed the "Going On" performance starring GWD and his wife.
  • 11/15: pj1228 recommended the TV series Murdoch Mysteries, noting that GWD plays Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in season two, and NB is in seasons four and (likely) five.
  • 11/12: pj1228 reviewed the 2011 Stratford Richard III, with NB as Lord Hastings and Andrew Gillies (Felix Twist) as Lord Stanley.

Cymbeline! This prospect comes very close to making up for missing Camelot this year. (Assuming it doesn't likewise get replaced with a UK trip, which is an outside possibility.)

I don't know...Camelot was fantastic! It's going to be hard to surpass or even come close to it, but it is Shakespeare so it's possible. But then again, a trip to the UK is fantastic all on its own! I'm jealous about that! LOL

This time last year, I was bound and determined to see Camelot, because Ger as Arthur was on my "dream production" wishlist 15 years ago! But the UK trip had to happen when it did, and I had to make a tough call about what to do with my vacation time and money. I don't regret it, but I do still whimper a bit! *wry g*

Not only is GWD appearing, he has the title role of Cymbeline! Of course, the story is more about Imogen, but still, LOL.

Yeah, it's not about the king all that much at all. But that's okay. It's one of my favorites, for whatever weird reason.
