Kristin Lehman to be on Castle
According to the preview following last night's Castle, Kristin Lehman (FK's Urs) will guest-star on next week's episode: "Eye of the Beholder" (#4.5, 10/17/11, ABC).  This appearance isn't in IMDB yet, but... that's her.  Castle viewers, expect a treat; she's more brilliant than FK, unfortunately, ever made use of.

John Kapelos' episode of Castle aired in Germany last month. I haven't found the time to watch it yet in order to check which voice they gave him.

It would be fun if Castle's German team used the same actor who voiced Schanke, but I'm guessing that's unlikely. Let us know when you discover the answer. :-)

I watched it today. Very good episode by the way. John Kapelos had a different voice than in FK. But the voice was OK. (Did I mention that his voice in FK is the same that Duncan McLoad from HL has?)

Usually only the more prominent actors get the luxury of getting the same voice in everything they do, like Harrison Ford, Sean Connery or George Clooney (who has Lacroix's voice by the way).

Nigel had the same voice though in FK and LEXX, probably because both were done by RTL2. And Ger had the same voice in FK and Outer Limits.

Thanks for the news!

Yes, I think you did mention that Don Schanke and Duncan MacLeod share a voice in German. :-) It's initially mind-boggling, as the actors look so different, and the characters have so little in common, but of course a voice-actor can be versatile in ways that an on-stage/before-camera actor cannot, in our verisimilitude-demanding age. It comes to mind that for several years, Catherine Disher aptly voiced an animated superheroine, as whom she would never have been cast in live-action.

George Clooney shares Lacroix's voice? Oh, my! I know a Natpacker to whom I will not relate that news, for fear of traumatizing her. ;-) (She adores Mr. Clooney and reviles Lacroix.)

Ooops, sorry for completely messing up the spelling of Duncan's last name. It's been some time since I last saw Highlander.

Sometimes it takes me a while to notice that certain characters share a voice. For example, I had watched Star Trek TNG and FK for years before I realized that Lacroix and Commander Riker share the same voice (as you see, Lacroix's voice [second and 3rd season], i.e. Detlef Bierstedt is quite popular). I noticed it when I zapped into an episode of MacGyver and it went like this: "Oh, that's Riker's voice. No, wait, that's Lacroix's voice. Oh, Lacroix and Riker have the same voice." LOL

Richard Gere shares Nick's voice by the way. :)

"MacLeod" is difficult to spell for everyone (unless, perhaps, one is Scottish). ~grin~

I was all manner of delighted to see her in the promo. Bless Nathan's Canadian-ness once again. :-)

It looks (fingers crossed) like a fun role, for us and her alike. I'm looking forward to seeing her opposite Nathan Fillon! :-)
