Stock up for your holiday weekend reading at FKFicFest!
The 2015 [community profile] fkficfest/fkficfest continues revealing stories, but not for long! We've revealed 12 all-new Forever Knight adventures — and I do indeed emphasize "adventures" this year, whew! look at all that plot! — and we have just 1 more to go! Tomorrow, Saturday, will bring us the very last new story in this year's fest, and then Sunday will bring the masterlist and "Closing Ceremonies."

Bookmark or download a few stories to enjoy! Come read! Then leave a comment or just click the "Kudos" button to encourage the author to write FK again someday!

I'm afraid that I've fallen behind on commenting myself — work is eating my time, health and possibly soul — but catching up on great fanfiction is what holiday weekends are for! I'm looking forward to it!

Yep, ~15K this time
This year's story references Fleur in two places, but only because Nick and Natalie's daughter Joan resembles her. :-)

Yes, it's 14,996 words. Pretty long for how quickly I wrote it, with so little time outside work!

But you know that I've written longer, because you've read my longest: "Fireweed" (58,987), my first big Fleur story. "In the Light of Day" (48,394) and "Corners of the Mind" (31,279) are much longer than this year's story, too (though they don't have any Fleur, either ~grin~).

But I see that it is my fourth longest to date!

Then there's a few in the ~13K words range, including my very best BtVS story, and "Starwort," the Fleur story over which we (you and me) met!

Thanks for the inspiration to glance over those comparisons. :-)
